Bruno Tonioli’s enormous Britain’s Got Talent salary as he rakes in thousands

Bruno Tonioli’s eye-watering salary to be a judge on Britain’s Got Talent has been uncovered.

Italian star Bruno, 68, regularly enthrals audiences across the UK and the world with his fiery passion and love for the job. Having first appeared as a professional dancer on the likes of Elton John’s music video for I’m Still Standing, Bruno has gone on to dominate competitive TV.

Back in 2004, Bruno got his first break in TV as a judge on then-unheard of Strictly Come Dancing. His enthusiasm for the show and the passion of his critiques set him apart from the other judges and gained him a huge fanbase, leading to other opportunities.

He went on find fame stateside as well, thanks to his judging skills – going on to be a judge on the American version of the show, Dancing with the Stars. But in 2022, Tonioli announced he would be swapping the Strictly dancefloor for the BGT stage, as he left the BBC show – with Anton du Beke taking over.

And it seems that the decision was a rather profitable one for Bruno, as it has been revealed that he is raking in a mammoth £21k a week on the show, according to The Sun. This now means that, when accounting for assets in his entertainment firm, Bruno’s pay packet has skyrocketed, with Bruno now being worth £3.5million.

The star was said to have been paid a huge £250k per series on Strictly, alongside £1.5million for his stint on Dancing with the Stars. But away from competitive TV, Tonioli has had several other projects including BBC’s DanceX – and it’s American counterpart, Dance War.

Tonioli also was living in the lap of luxury as he relaxed in a home worth £500k, which has now been sold. This helped to replenish the funds in his business Fulvia Ltd, named after his much-loved mum.

However, despite swimming in the money, Bruno once found himself in hot water with fellow Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood. Craig blasted Bruno, saying that the Italian stallion is notoriously “tight” with his purse strings.

Hitting back at the claims, Bruno fumed to The Sun: “Tight? I paid for him and Bananarama at The Ivy for my birthday party, so he can’t say that. I bought a meal for him and his boyfriend at The Ivy and he must have drunk 20 bottles of rosé.”

Nowadays, Bruno has been papped sunning himself on the Greek island of Mykonos, alongside model and pal Lizzie Cundy. The pair had a nightmare making it back to the UK, however, with Cundy posting a snap of her fuming at taking “15 hours” to get back to London from the Greek island paradise.

She wrote at the time: “Only took me 15 hours to get back from Mykonos to London! What a hell journey home, but I was lucky enough that my flight actually took off, sorry to those left still waiting…”
