Carol Vorderman has confessed she never got to show off the sexy skintight latex dress she’d been planning for months to wow guests at her former radio co-host and close friend Nathan Sussex’s wedding – because she slept through the whole night time bash.
Worried guests started a frantic search around the venue for the former Countdown star, not realising a planned power nap had left her out for the count in her hotel room.
She didn’t even answer banging on the door or phonecalls as she slept through all six hours of the fun which went on to 2am and even a loud firework display, before emerging the next day.

Vorderman had even spent two years excitedly discussing plans for last summer’s event with groom Nathan Sussex, one of her best pals, during co-hosting of their former BBC Radio Wales show.
Sussex, who played football coach villain Buster Smith in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, tied the knot with Jemajesty Lloyd.
Vorderman, dubbed Carol Snorederman after her no show reason was revealed, tells next week’s TV show Unforgivable: “One of my best friends, Nathan Sussex – we used to before I got sacked from the BBC do a radio show together on a Saturday.
“So he was getting married to Jemy, so we were talking about this wedding for at least two years.
“We’d talk about it on the show, I knew every detail about this wedding.
“The day of the wedding, we all turn up, there were about 200 of us.
“At nine o’clock they had to change the big room around for the disco – there was another 100 people coming – so we talked about our outfits for months.
“So I had this green rhinestone dress for the day. I got this latex black dress and the gloves for the night time do. So they’re going ‘Oh, we can’t wait, we can’t wait’.
“All my gay friends are going ‘we’re just going to change’, so I get to my room, I think ‘I’ll just have a little power nap, I’ll just nod off for five minutes’.
“Six hours later…I’d missed the disco, I’d missed the fireworks, which would make Sydney Bridge look like nothing on New Year’s Eve.
“They’d been knocking on my door, I had 273 messages on my phone, they couldn’t find me.
“I’ve felt completely shamefaced ever since.”
Carol’s confession can be seen when she is reunited with Nathan again for the first time since her Saturday morning BBC Radio Wales show came to an end because of her outspoken political views
Nathan said: “It was like Dynasty on crack. There was a costume change so it was glitz and glam in the evening.
“Everyone’s running around saying ‘Where’s Carol?’
“I thought she’d gone home.”
Carol’s admission can be seen on Unforgivable at 10pm on Tuesday (April 2) on Dave or streamed on UKTV Play.
