CBB line-up is ‘disappointing’ and ‘lacks diversity’, says reality TV beauty

Reality TV star Chrissie Wunna isn’t impressed by Celebrity Big Brother line-up.

The iconic ITV reality show returned last week – with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best back at the helm. The pair welcomed a fresh batch of famous faces onto the rebooted series, which hasn’t been on TV for six years.

The likes of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Colson Smith, Louis Walsh and Fern Britton have all signed up to live with one another in the most iconic house in Britain. Reality TV legend Sharon Osbourne is also the show’s lodger and will only stay in the house for a brief amount of time.

However, one reality TV star is not too impressed with the line-up, dubbing it “average”. What’s more, she has also slammed the show for its lack of Asian representation.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, telly favourite Chrissie, who shot to fame on Naked Attraction, shared how like many of us, she tuned in to watch the new series. But it seems she‘s not that keen.

“I never find the launch show as fun because I like it to all kick in, I like the drama aspect of all reality. Like I love reality TV I’ve done a lot of it,” she told us.

Chrissie, who has appeared on First Dates and Steph’s Packed Lunch. went on: “But I like it when they’ve all stopped doing that showy-y face. It’s when they’re in their scrubs, all starving and hungry and how their real personalities are.”

As for the line-up, Chrissie has her complaints. She revealed: “I was disappointed in the line-up. I wanted to see some massive, massive stars because in the past we’ve had people like La Toya Jackson, crazy stars and it’s such an iconic show!”

She added: “But they have got Sharon O and she is a big star. Louis [Walsh] is a big star, I guess they are the head honchos. But it’s just the same. A bit of Love Island, a bit of Ibiza Weekender.”

What’s more, Chrissie also called out the show for its lack of Asian representation. She explained: “And also again there are no Asians in there and no Yorkshire people. On every show there is not a single Asian ever so I can’t root for anyone. Like put in Myleene Klass!”

However, Chrissie did note that viewers may understand why certain celebs have been cast further down the line. She said: “Even though the line-up is an average line-up if I’m being honest, later on, when all the sh*t hits the fan, maybe we’ll understand why they’ve been cast.”
