Celebrity Big Brother victor David Potts has made a big announcement for his career just weeks after winning the show.
The Ibiza Weekender star, 30, was voted the winner of the ITV show by the public in a nail-biting final last month. He managed to beat out Louis Walsh, Fern Britton, Colson Smith and eventual runner-up Nikita Kuzmin to clinch the title.
Since then, Potts has been busy making appearances on shows and filling up his schedule with new projects. Now, some three weeks after emerging as the winner of the ITV reality titan, David has dropped some huge news that would shift his career.

Potts has revealed that he will be setting up and starting a new podcast with special guests. He also confirmed the first episode of the show would be available to listen to next Wednesday (April 17), with no hints on who the first guest could be.
Taking to social media, he penned: “You wanted a podcast, I got you a podcast. I am SO excited to announce I will be starting my very own podcast, The David Potts Show!
“It’s gunna be like daytime telly, but I will do what the f*** I want,” he explained. “Make sure you’re all following and get ready for Wednesday 17th April when the 1st ep is released; available on Spotify, Apple Music & every bloody where!”
Fans were immediately quick to share in the good news and congratulate the star for his new career move. One proud fan took to the comments section to give David their congratulations: “Omg my drives to work just got a whole lot better, well done baby – proud of you,” followed by a slew of kisses.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo was also among the well-wishers, writing: “Yes! Love this and will definitely be listening x.”
Many of David’s own pals from Celebrity Big Brother were also quick to celebrate the news, with Marisha Wallace, Bradley Riches and even host AJ Odudu joining in to congratulate the star. He also received a slew of positive comments from fans, gushing over the star’s new project.
This is not the first time that David has done a podcast, as he was involved in two different podcasts during his time in the Big Brother House. Together with fellow housemate Bradley, the pair set up their own podcast-style show titled “Bathroom Slayers”, whilst David was also involved in another podcast together with his other housemates due to a task set by Big Brother.
Potts also promoted the podcast when he appeared on Wednesday’s edition of Good Morning Britain (April 10), hosted by Kate Garraway and Ed Balls. In the chat, he also revealed there would be a dedicated complaining section affectionately named, ‘Good Moaning Britain’.
The first episode of The David Potts Show will go out at April 17 on all podcast streaming platforms.
