Charlotte Crosby has slammed her Geordie Shore co-stars in a statement after quitting the MTV series last year following a row with Marnie Simpson.
The reality star, 33, abruptly left the series during filming last summer after clashing with Marnie over a high chair. The duo have since unfollowed each other on Instagram and haven’t spoken since the heated exchange.
Charlotte was joined by fiancé Jake Ankers and daughter Alba as the cast reunited for the 24th series alongside their family members. But things didn’t go to plan for the Celebrity Big Brother star after she discovered her friends had spoken “behind her back.”

The star took to Instagram with a lengthy statement, which began: “Hi everyone. I just wanted to pop on to say thanks so much for all the lovely messages I’ve received over the the last 24 hours. They’ve meant a lot.
“I haven’t had a chance to watch the new eps of Geordie Shore, but I don’t think I will. I really was quite clueless as to conversations that were being had behind my back by “Friends”.”
She continued: “Last year whilst filming was going on, I had just had a baby, lost my beloved nana and was trying to be by my mam’s side during her cancer diagnosis. I know many of you are already fully aware of the roller coaster of emotions we went through as a family that year, so I feel a little saddened I have to bring this up in a bid to try and defend myself.”
Charlotte admitted she is still “hurt” by the situation but is attempting to move on. She added: “I was hoping to be really strong when the show aired and try to brush it off like I wasn’t bothered, but I am hurt and I can’t quite seem to shake it off.
She concluded the post with: “Life is too short to argue though. I’m going to count my blessings, value my loved ones and move on with my head held high. Love you all lots.” It comes after Marnie, 31, broke her silence on their feud, confirming she wouldn’t be willing to make to the first move to repair their friendship.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “I feel like if I was to ever bump into Charlotte I’d say hello, like I don’t hold any grudges. But I feel like people do just drift apart.
“We’re not 20 anymore, we’re adults with children, getting married and stuff so obviously that happens. Friends can drift apart and become different people. I think that for my mental health, I just need to surround myself with positive influences, who lifts us up and support us. I don’t want to surround myself with negativity.”
