Eamonn Holmes ‘moving in with new girlfriend’ 4 months after Ruth Langsford split

Eamonn Holmes is reportedly set to move in with his girlfriend just four months after his split from Ruth Langsford.

The 64-year-old broadcaster called time on his marriage with the the Loose Women presenter back in May this year after 14 years together. But it appears their split hasn’t dampened his love live, with the TV star soon finding love again in the arms of his new belle Katie Alexander, 42.

The couple recently jetted off to the heart of Spain for a well-deserved summer break. The pair were clearly in the throws of love as they enjoyed a lavish cruise trip.

“They’ve been spending so much time at his Kingston flat that they’re even looking to move in together permanently. Eamonn doesn’t want to stay in his rented place as it’s too small, too expensive and, without air conditioning, gets very hot.”

They went on: “It’s on the basement floor as well, with people looking in as they walk past all the tie so isn’t private enough for them. With that in mind, they’re really keen to move into a bigger place in the country with lots of land.

“Katie will obviously be there to care for Eamonn as he grows older and thinks it’s best to do that somewhere without prying eyes.” Daily Star has contacted Eamonn’s representatives for a comment.

Ruth and Eamonn – who are proud parents to their son Jack – first got together in 1996 and officially tied the knot in 2010. But after they announced their separation in May, Eamonn oved out of their family home in Surrey.

Now, Ruth Langsford is “shocked” after her estranged husband jetted off for a lavish holiday, according to claims. Marriage counsellor Katie was spotted pushing Eamonn’s walking frame through the departure longue as he followed behind in a wheelchair this weekend.

However, a source told Mail Online that Eamonn’s public holiday has left the heartbroken broadcaster “shocked.” An insider told the outlet: “Ruth is shocked by how open Eamonn is being about his relationship, after all they both still have their wedding rings on.

“Neither of them want to be the first to take it off because they don’t want to look like they’re to blame for the split.” Despite seeing Eamonn travel for his lavish holiday, Ruth is still wearing her wedding ring.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted her wedding band on the anchor’s finger as she chatted to her supporters on Instagram ahead of a meeting on Loose Women. Want all the biggest Showbiz and TV news straight to your inbox? Sign up for our free Daily Star Showbiz newsletter.
