GB News anchor Eamonn Holmes has been stirring the pot with cryptic messages about having “loads to think about”, leading fans to worry about a potential split from his wife Ruth Langsford.
But it looks like he’s quashed those rumours by posting a cosy snap with Ruth, 64, on Instagram to his 796k followers. The telly veteran re-shared a photo from Entertainment Press Photographer Brett Cove, who originally posted the throwback of the pair from 2018 with the caption: “MEMORIES 10 May 2018. The best in the business… @ruthlangsford @eamonnholmes.”
This is the first time in ages that Eamonn has shared a picture of him and Loose Women star Ruth, after their absence from each other’s social media had fans fretting. They hadn’t been seen together for quite some time, sparking all sorts of theories.

The rumour mill went into overdrive when Eamonn shared a solo shot of himself looking pensive, alongside the caption: “A lot to think about … one of those days,” reports the Express.
And just before that, eyebrows were raised when Ruth was MIA from a family photo Eamonn posted. The snap featured his son Declan, daughter-in-law Jenny, and granddaughters Emilia and Isabella at Isabella’s christening the previous Sunday.
The snap sparked curiosity among followers, with one probing: “Where is your wife Eamonn Holmes?” Yet, numerous fans speculated that Ruth might have been at the gathering, just not captured in the photo with Eamonn.
Quashing any whispers of a rift, Eamonn’s latest social media update seems to set the record straight. The couple, who tied the knot in 2010 and were familiar faces on ITV’s This Morning from 2006 to 2021, are still going strong.
