EastEnders icon Martine McCutheon has wowed fans with her recent social media display.
The 47-year-old actress slipped into a plunging sparkly dress for New Year’s Eve last weekend as she welcome 2024 with her nearest and dearest. She looked gorgeous as ever as she showed off her ageless figure in the glitzy number.
She logged into Instagram on New Year’s Day to share a stunning snap from the night before which showed Martine looking in the mirror debating whether she wanted to wear her trademark raven tresses half up, half down or all down.

Alongside the snap, Martine penned: “About Last Night… New years Eve and I spent a good half an hour at LEAST, deciding if I wanted my hair half up, or all down… I seriously think it’s part of my ADD and it’s bloody exhausting! My arms were aching so bad in the end I just left it all down! Typical! At least whilst I was in the hair hypnosis @sonyajasinskiphotography got a lovely photo. I like this one- I don’t normally like those pics you aren’t ready for, (Those ones where everyone says you look lovely and natural – But you just feel like you look like a bloody mess or maniac!) But this one is really nice… She’s SO good! @sonyajasinskiphotography. Thank you Darling! X”
Unsurprisingly the Love Actually actress’ post was inundated with supportive message from her fans, with some rushing to leave a message for the star in the comment section. One fan penned: “Yet another nice and lovely pic as always Martine.” Someone else wrote: “You are stunning.” A third person gushed: “You look fabulous.” A fourth social media user agreed: “You are beautiful inside and out”
Martine, who famously played Tiffany Mitchell in EastEnders, previously opened up about how she keeps healthy with a diet filled with fruit and vegetables. She explained: “With every meal I make sure to have loads of fruit and veg, not too much dairy not too much red meat.” She added: “When you’re doing that daily, you’re allowing yourself that little bit of space where you can have the freedom to still have a little bit of what you fancy.”

The actress also spoke to Closer magazine about her exercise routine, saying: “For me, it’s a gentle 20-min walk every day. Walking in nature helps me mentally. It sets me up with the right tone of the day and physically helps with my ME and fibromyalgia.” Martine was first diagnosed with ME, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome, in 2011. The life-long condition can result in tiredness, muscle pains and a sore throat.
