Despite 36 years having passed since Lisanne Falk first set pulses racing as Heather McNamara in Heathers, the actress is still leaving fans hot under the collar.
Before Gretchen Wieners terrorised the innocent students at North Shore High, it was Heather NcMara who paved the way for Mean Girls with her despicable antics in one of the 80’s most popular teen movies.
But while her character was detestable, the actress herself was undeniably beautiful, with many forgiving Heather’s vile ways due to the flowing blonde locks sported by the woman who portrayed her.

With Shannen Doherty and Kim Walker by her side, also playing girls named Heather, Lisanne’s character saw no issue in bullying the less popular girls at Westberg High. But despite her almost lioness place at the top of the food chain, things soon went astray for the nasty piece of work.
Veronica Sawyer, a friend of the Heathers, magnificently played by Winona Ryder, begins to drift from the group and finds herself falling for bad boy, JD, (Christian Slater). Determined to rid the world of Heathers, he convinces Veronica to join his diabolical plan.
When the motion picture first hit screens in 1988, it received massive backlash for its dark humour that centred around murder, suicide and sex. However, despite many not taking too fondly to the themes of the film, the movie has developed somewhat of a cult following.
The notoriety of Heathers allowed Lisanne to springboard into global fame, shooting for Stardom. Continuing her actor career, she appeared alongside John Cusack in Say Anything.
However, after realising that life in the public eye wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, the actress stepped away from the mainstream, last appearing in Casablanca in 2002.
The performer has settled down in the UK with her husband, video game producer, Mark Morris, with the couple recently appearing at the BAFTA Games Awards.
Looking mesmerising on the red carpet, the New York-born actress sent her fans into meltdown, with many taking to Instagram to send positive messages.
One fan wrote: “Looking gorgeous,” while another commented: “That dress is so,” proceeded by a heart in-eyes emoji.
