Dave Grohl looked worlds away from the Foo Fighters when he arrived at Wimbledon.
The Foo Fighters frontman was almost unrecognisable as he rocked up to Wimbledon on Tuesday (July 2) looking every inch the gentleman for day two of the tennis tournament in SW19. He’d swapped his usual stage get-up for a sharp navy suit and mustard tie combo.
Complete with tan suede loafers and some snazzy designer shades, the 55 year old had his locks slicked back and seemed miles away from his headbanging persona. He topped off his look with some stylish black shades.

The rock titan was spotted with his wife Jordyn Blum, who looked equally as smart. She served up an ace in her cream Gucci killers, baby-blue skirt, and co-ordinating blazer, topped with sunglasses and hair knotted in a stylish plait.
Grohl was last seen belting out tunes with the Foos at the London Stadium in June, where they played their hearts out to a crowd of adoring fans. The Learn To Fly hitmakers are no strangers to topping the charts but they weren’t alone lighting up the capital with big gigs.
Taylor Swift has also been on British soil, absolutely smashing it with her massive Eras Tour. It all kicked off between the pair after Dave chucked a not-so-subtle dig at Taylor, claiming she was miming her hits on stage, reports the Mirror.
At the London Stadium with the Foos, Dave quipped: “We like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour.’ We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f**king errors as well. Just a couple.”
After a pause, he dropped the mic and added: “That’s because we actually play live.” Taylor Swift’s die-hard followers were left seething after the comment, but Foo Fighters fans were quick to point out that Dave Grohl’s daughter, Violet, faced vile death threats from Swifties when she questioned Taylor’s private jet usage.
Hopping onto X, 18 year old Violet said: “Why can’t Taylor Swift just drive like everyone else.” Her post, now removed, sparked fury among the Swiftie brigade.
One user linked Dave’s subtle jab to the online drama, posting: “Wow I wonder what prompted Dave Grohl to take a little swipe at Taylor Swift? I’m sure it’s totally unprovoked and not at all to do with his 17-year-old daughter being relentlessly trolled and sent death threats from Swifties because of this totally innocuous tweet back in January.”
But a Swift supporter clapped back, saying: “You do not attack another artist because your daughter is beefing with that artist’s FANS. Taylor Swift is in the midst of the biggest tour on the planet. She’s done immeasurable good and boosted local economies every time she shows up. Dave and company need to calm down.”
In what seemed to be a retort to Dave’s sly dig, Taylor addressed her Wembley Stadium crowd, proclaiming: “What you just did was an unforgettable moment for every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band that’s playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight. They deserve this so much.”
