Liam and Noel Gallagher’s late night call changed their lives forever.
A source told The Sun: “Noel and Liam are never going to be the best of friends, but they want to bring Oasis back for the fans. They aren’t getting any younger and the demand is huge.”
“They decided it was now or never. Noel dug his heels in for a long time but has finally caved and agreed to return. He spoke to Liam on the phone and they are on the same page. They know this reunion will go down in music history.”

READ MORE: Oasis reunion finally confirmed – but Liam and Noel still butting heads on major issue
According to reports, Oasis fans may have a couple of people close to the siblings to thank for the much anticipated reunion. It appears Liam’s fiancee and one of the band’s other members were advocates for getting Oasis back up and running.
A source told The Mirror: “Liam and Noel are talking again and the reunion is definitely happening. It has been a long time coming but things are back on track. For years [Liam’s fiancee] Debbie has been trying to get Liam and Noel to patch things up.”
“[Oasis guitarist] Bonehead is one of the few people they are both pals with and he has recently been trying too, and it has finally paid off. A lot of senior people around the Gallaghers haven’t been told yet and those who are involved have all had to sign NDAs, but the reunion will happen and an announcement is imminent. Oasis gigs will be the biggest event in Britain in 2025.”
It was announced earlier today (27 August) that the Gallagher brothers have set their differences aside to confirm a 14-date comeback tour across the country. They told fans: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
The brothers even shared a brand new picture together, showing Noel wearing a denim jacket and jeans while Liam posed in a shiny anorak. Oasis’ upcoming events have been branded “their only shows in Europe next year,” sadly squashing rumours that they will perform a headline slot at Glastonbury 2025.
