I saw Cascada live at BCM – and she certainly did not ‘Evacuate the Dancefloor’

Cascada blew fans away as she performed at BCM Mallorca – and the inner teenager in me couldn’t have been happier.

If you’re a lover of noughties dance music, then you undoubtedly had a flip phone full of Bluetooth’d Cascada tunes. But if you’re a loyal fan like me, then you may still listen to some of her top tracks such as ‘Everytime We Touch’ and ‘What Hurts The Most.’

On Monday night (June 19), the German singer (who represented Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013) attended Mallorca’s biggest club to perform for fans at the venue’s Clubland event. The star headlined the night and was supported by the likes of Ultrabeat and Ian Van Dahl.

Cascada, now 42, opened her performance with ‘Evacuate the Dancefloor’ which had crowds of party-goers screaming as they relived their youth. Not only did she sound vocally insane, but she also looked the part, as she was decked out in a mirrored catsuit with a corset on top.

The singer lit up the room with her infectious energy, catchy lyrics, and sassy backing dancers. Fans were singing at the top of their lungs to the old-school but relatable lyrics – some of which got us through our high school breakups.

This comes after Cascada performed at Capital’s Summertime Ball at the O2 Arena, alongside Jax Jones, so strap yourselves in, as I think we are about to hear a lot more from her in the coming months.

If you’re jetting off to Mallorca and are gutted to have missed out, don’t fret, as the superclub has plenty more where that came from with the likes of Dappy, Chase and Status, Rudimental, Joel Corry, plus many more hitting up the venue this summer.

Not only do they have great acts, but the establishment is kitted with eye-catching lasers that give Ibiza’s best spots a run for their money. If you’re up for partying all night long in a stunning location, at a fraction of the budget of some other rival locations, then I suggest you get booking your next holiday ASAP.
