Glastonbury has opened its gates once more and most attendees will be packing their tents up to camp for the weekend – but for others, there are some lavish options
If you’ve ever fancied Glastonbury but didn’t want to camp, here are some lavish alternatives – but they come with a hefty price tag.
The festival has a glamping site with prices going up to £24k for the length of the festival. Partygoers can choose from several types of (gigantic) yurts, some of which have access to a swimming pool.
The Pop-Up Hotel is a luxury glamping company offering revellers a much more luxurious experience at the festival on Worthy Farm. The most premium accommodation, the ‘Principle Suite’ houses up to eight people and will set fans back £23,999.

For a romantic type of stay, attendees can go to the ‘Safari Suite’ – which costs £11,999. Fans can expect a shower room and toilet, covered porch, and “great furnishing”.

Glamping guests can also enjoy a luxurious boutique spa that boasts wood-fired hot tubs, pools and saunas. Not to mention access to massages, reflexology, hair and beauty treatments and fitness classes.
The Pop-Up Hotel also has a restaurant and bars open for guests and is only a 10 minute stretch to the festival site. The company said it’s the “perfect base to enjoy the festival in comfort and away from the heaving crowds”.
