Jacob Elordi’s makeover has divided his fan base.
The 27-year-old actor, known for his roles as Nate Jacobs in Euphoria and Felix Catton in Saltburn, recently took to the red carpet sporting a thick beard and longer tresses than his usual style.
Over on X/Twitter, fans were gobsmacked by the news and begged the star to go back to his signature style. Some of his followers joked that he should “undebut” the beard while one said: “Bro doesn’t even look like the same person anymore.”

One person suggested that Elordi “dye it darker,” a second fan wondered whether the makeover is “for a role” while a third joked: “He’s gonna have to shave it in two months for Euphoria season 3 lol.”

Someone else playfully wrote: “I’m in stage one of grief right now,” as they reminisced on Jacob’s usual clean-shaven appearance.
“Lowkey giving Jack Nicholson,” noticed another Elordi fan, while someone else typed: “He looks like [if] Joaquin Phoenix took the substance,” referring to the injection used to turn people into younger versions of themselves in Demi Moore’s 2024 film The Substance.

Some people also come to his defence and fawned over the Euphoria star’s facial hair. One person tweeted: “Okay but Jacob Elordi with a beard. I can’t be the only one who loves it. Like excuse me sir,” with a row of heart-eyed emojis.
Other people used the same emoji under pictures of Jacob’s new facial hair, proving that his new look is simply down to personal taste. “Jacob Elordi out here redefining beard goals,” gushed another fan of the actor’s beard hair.
Some called him “hot,” complemented his “nice beard” and even quipped that the hair gave him “crazy aura”.
