Joey Essex’s sister has said that there is a connection between him and a new Love Island bombshell.
Joey, 33, has been living it up in the villa in Majorca cracking on with Scouser Samantha. But things took a turn on Thursday’s episode (June 13) of the ITV show after three new Islanders set foot in the villa.
Two blonde babes and one new boy pranced their way into the villa at the end of the instalment, with a slew of this year’s sexy singletons being wowed by their beauty. But for reality veteran Joey, things hit home more so than with anyone else as he appeared to recognise one of the girls going in – Grace Jackson.

Now, Joey’s sister Frankie has admitted there is a connection between her and the TOWIE legend. However, not even she knows who the bombshell is and what history Joey has with her, but revealed that her husband knew.

Speaking to Kate Garraway and Robert Rinder on Good Morning Britain on Friday (June 14), Frankie said that her husband was more clued up on Joey’s history with the mystery girl. However, when she asked for more details on the case, he kept tight-lipped.
When asked about what she made of the episode, she winced: “I was a bit shocked at the end, and I really like [Samantha], I feel like I’ve got to know her already. I know she’s my type of girl, she’s got that friendship vibe, she’s got the banter, she’s quite forward and she tells it like it is.”
Frankie went on to say that she would love it if Joey came home with Samantha, but admitted that the new bombshell could threaten that potential. She continued: “I don’t know what’s happened with this girl before, I don’t know – my other half knows more than me!”

Entertainment reporter Scarlette Douglas, who was moderating the interview, cut in to ask Frankie on what the nature of the relationship was, if her beau knew. She hit back saying that she had absolutely no idea on how the two knew each other.
“I don’t know nothing about her,” Frankie explained, “but my partner does.” Scarlette pressed further, asking what he would have told Frankie, to which she responded: “Nothing. I just know as much as you know.”

It comes as Joey continues to crack on with Samantha, after they had a cute first date. Being whisked off to a luxurious rooftop bar, the pair had a hilarious moment as Joey tried to order two cocktails in Spanish – but failed horrendously, leading to the pair chuckling about the mishap for the rest of the date.
However, things could be headed towards the rocks for the couple, as in a conversation later in the day, Joey explained that he was “in neutral” about Samantha. Could this new bombshell turn Joey’s head?
