One fan wrote: “AHH IM PREGNANT AT THE SAME TIME AS HAILEY OMG YAYY CONGRATSSSS.” Another added: “Oh my gosh!!!! I’m thrilled for yall!!!” A third social media user said: “We are officially aunts.”
Hailey and Justin have been married for five years, after meeting in 2009 when the two were just teenagers. After a whirlwind engagement in 2018, they wed in a New York City courthouse just two months later.
The pair have joked about being pregnant in the past and famously pulled an April Fools Day prank on their fans. In 2019, Justin shared a picture of an ultrasound to Instagram followed by a photo of Hailey presumably at the doctor’s office. A few hours and several fan freak-outs later, Justin revealed it was all a prank.
Justin’s baby news comes just days after he left fans concerned after he appeared emotional and tearful in a series of snaps he shared to Instagram. Amongst a batch of pics of the Yummy singer performing on stage at Coachella, Justin included close-ups looking down at his camera with tears streaming down his face.
Other dumps showed Justin playing golf, relaxing in a hot tub and on the beach and smoking, but he offered no caption alongside his two concerning selfies. Instead, his 292 million followers took to the comments section to inundate him with support.
“I hope you are doing okay, I hate to see tears running down your face,” one fan declared. Another responded: “Justin, we are here for you brother.” A third penned: Oh Justin it breaks my heart to see you so sad and lost. You have to change your life, you have to start loving yourself. I am a recovering addict who has been clean and sober for ten years now. I think you may be struggling with substances, the signs are all there. Get the help you need, rehab, AA and lots and lots of therapy.”
And a fourth attempted to reassure him: “I love that you’re not afraid to show your vulnerability and emotions. It’s always great to remember that behind every single celebrities, there’s still a human being. Remember you are loved.”
