Katherine Ryan slams P Diddy over assault allegations in brutal speech quip

Comedian Katherine Ryan slammed P Diddy in a savage speech.

The 41-year-old comedian didn’t hold back as she hosted the Glamour Women Of The Year party held at Raffles OWO Hotel in London. There she declared that violence from men is the reason she won’t head to the gym or for a run, saying: “I, myself, haven’t exercised once in over 40 years, due to the threat of male violence.”

Ryan, who was honoured as a Feminist Hero at the event, added: “Also, I don’t want to. Can’t I just be a feminist who steals medication from Type 2 diabetics to transform myself into Christina Aguilera?”.

The Canadian didn’t hold back when discussing the ongoing sexual assault case involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, questioning his influence online in relation to the high number of sexual assault victims in the UK. In her speech, she quipped: “In a single year in the UK, 800,000 women have been victims of sexual assault. Surely P Diddy doesn’t have that kind of reach on the Internet?”

Diddy, denies all criminal wrongdoing., is currently in jail and faces federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy. Lawyer Tony Buzbee says over 100 people, including minors, are accusing the rapper of sex assault.

Ryan didn’t shy away from calling out a “dangerous male comic” she believes is a sexual predator, reports MyLondon. This comes in the wake of several sex assault allegations, including rape, against Russell Brand, all of which he vehemently denies.

She said: “Years ago, I didn’t want to take a job when I learned that he [the unnamed comic] would also be in the cast. Then after some soul searching, I thought, ‘Why should I stay home?’.

“He’ll be there in his unnecessarily tight jeans, wearing a hoodie and w***ing off to a Tibetan monk for views, or whatever he gets up to.

“Every time I got a chance to speak to him, I decided I would say stuff like, ‘I’m not getting paid enough to be here, especially considering how many times my face will be on the news when the victims come forward’.

Ryan added: “I wasn’t trying to get him cancelled because everybody already knew. Why didn’t you tell the journalist, Katherine? Everybody knew.

Katherine joined the comedian on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle back in 2018, where she allegedly confronted him with accusations that didn’t make it into the aired version of the episode. She did not identify the comic but hinted at a funnyman known for wearing “unnecessarily tight jeans” and donning a beanie hat indoors.

Reflecting on her stint on the Roast show, she quipped: “I accepted the gig but every time I had to speak to him I would say stuff like, ‘I’m not getting paid enough to be here, especially for how many times my face will be on the news when your victims come forward’ and fun banter like that.”

Katherine made the “sexual predator” claims during an interview with BBC documentary maker Louis Theroux back in November 2022. Although she has never named the “unmentionable British personality” for legal reasons, The TV comic claimed it was an “open secret” amongst people working in her industry.

She stressed that she was not a victim of sexual assault herself, saying it was “not my story to tell”, but believed accusations from sources she described as “very credible”.
