Katie Price’s ex ‘ready to expose lies’ if he is dragged through mud in new book

Katie Price ex has said he will “expose her lies” if he is in her new book.

The Pricey, 46, called time with former Love Island star Carl Woods late last year. Despite hitting it off initially, cracks soon started to show between the pair, who went on to have a particularly rocky 2023.

Since then, Carl has hooked up with another woman, while Katie has found love once again with Married at First Sight star JJ Slater. However, things have not been all rosy for the model and businesswoman as she was declared bankrupt for a second time after being unable to pay a £760k tax bill.

In an effort to bring some extra money in, Katie is set to release a new book about her life. Titled This Is Me: The High Life, The Dark Times, the autobiography will look at the more private side of Katie’s life and her family.

Price has been marketing the book as “the true story behind the headlines”, and is set to focus on a number of different topics that have affected her in recent years. These include her numerous failed relationships, as well as her kids, her childhood and her mental health.

In previous writing stints, Katie has not held back at slamming her former partners, with the likes of Kieran Hayler and Peter Andre facing her wrath. Now, Carl is expecting a similar experience, but has warned that he will expose her misgivings if he is dragged through the mud.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the car salesman said: “If Katie drags Carl’s name through the mud he’s ready to do what he needs to, to set the record straight. He won’t stand for Katie putting out a warped view of their time together and is vowing to undo any claims and expose secrets from their relationship if that should happen.”

The insider went on to say: “Katie shouldn’t underestimate him. Carl insists he has all the evidence he needs to rubbish any negative claims.

“He’s remained quiet since their split and is happy to leave Katie alone, but he is determined not to become the latest ex to be pulled apart in a book. After all, people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”

Katie and Carl were first tied romantically in the midst of lockdown, and got engaged to each other just ten months after. The pair seemed head over heels for each other, as the pair jetted off on holiday, and even discussed marriage and kids.

But as time went on, the couple became more frayed, as the honeymoon period was well and truly over. Following a series of bitter rows and some irrational behaviour from Katie – including crashing her £63k Range Rover, both Katie and Carl decided to call time on their relationship in November 2023.
