Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion circled by bailiffs as she’s evicted from £2m home

Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion was attended by bailiffs during the star’s bankruptcy struggles.

Over 10 officials swarmed the TV star’s £2million property in Sussex on Wednesday morning (June 26) as she was officially evicted. Five vehicles descended on the property at 10am and the bailiffs were joined by security officers ready to secure the site after a mortgage lender repossessed the keys.

Price was served an eviction notice earlier this year following the reality star’s financial woes, which include owing over £700k in debt to HMRC. A letter was reportedly attached to a fence outside the mansion, instructing mum-of-five Katie to vacate the 3.5 acre property.

The letter published by The Sun read: “The court has issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the above property (land) at the request of the claimant.” A warrant gives a county court bailiff the power to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant.

The home was surrounded by rubbish as officers attended the site, including a huge rusting sign of her daughter’s name Princess, which had been thrown into the heap by the stable block. Also visible was a pink satin sofa, broken wardrobes, and electrical appliances, and a swimming pool covered in green algae.

Since Katie received the order to leave the mansion, the property has remained empty. The I’m A Celebrity star previously shared her moving preparations – and a “yard sale” with followers on social media.

She posted a video on her Instagram stories showing her kitchen filled with household items packed and ready for removal. Three large removal trucks were seen arriving at the property at the end of May for clearance.

An insider previously revealed: “Katie has been dreading this day for so long but now it is here, she can’t wait to leave. The house has caused her so much grief and was too much to handle on her own.

“With work and the kids, it all became too much in recent years. She’s convinced it’s haunted”.

Katie has warned off future buyers of her infamous Mucky Mansion. Despite being evicted, Katie claimed it was her choice to leave the house and live elsewhere.

She said: “I’ve been wanting to get out of my old house for absolute years. It’s been nothing but hell in there. I’ve not had any luck in that house, ever!” Katie told MailOnline that she “hates” the mansion.

“It is absolutely cursed,” she said. “My anxiety got worse with that house. There was a point when I couldn’t even walk up the driveway without having a panic attack,” she added. “I had therapy about the house. I should never have gone back there. Now I’m out of it it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
