Katy Perry sent pulses racing in a sparkling red, white and blue bikini.
The 39-year-old pop star celebrated Independence Day in sizzling style on Thursday (July 4), wearing a skimpy bikini with the American flag covered on it. The singer looked incredible in the patriotic bikini, which was covered in rhinestones.
Katy tucked her brunette locks up inside a red bandana with polka dots as she got into character as Rosie the Riveter. The mum-of-one flexed her impressive muscles and gazed off into the distance while tugging at the bikini.

She gave a nod to her 2010 hit Firework in the caption, where she plugged her upcoming single Woman’s World which drops on July 11. She wrote: “BB UR A FIREWORK. And speaking of work, WOMAN’S WORLD IS GOING TO WORK IN ONE WEEK HAPPY 4TH.”
Baywatch star Carmen Electra gushed in the comments: “the american dream.” A fan wrote: “HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!! YOU LOOK STUNNING!!”.
Katy, who is about to release her sixth studio album, received backlash for working with controversial music producer Dr. Luke on her new track. The 50-year-old producer, who denies all allegations against him, was accused of physical, sexual and emotional abuse.
Kesha filed a civil lawsuit against the producer for alleged sex-based crimes and employment discrimination. In response, Dr. Luke filed a lawsuit against Kesha and her mother for defamation and breach of contract.
Kesha filed a counter-claim against Dr. Luke’s defamation suit and claimed he drugged and raped her on two occasions. But Kesha’s counter-claims against Dr. Luke were dismissed as a video showed Kesha swearing under oath that the producer had never assaulted her.
Kesha had claimed the statements made were untrue and only made out of fear, bullying and trauma. However, last June Kesha and Dr. Luke released a joint settlement confirming they had reached a settlement.
Fans on X, formerly Twitter, have voiced their upset about the collaboration. One wrote: “Woman’s world, but you’re working with Dr luke …”
Another commented: “”Woman’s World” PRODUCED BY DR.LUKE? How rich.”
