Katya Jones watched her former Strictly dance partner Adam Peaty swim at the Paris Olympics.
The 35-year-old Strictly star revealed she was in the crowd watching Adam bag himself a silver medal in the Men’s 100m breaststroke on Sunday night (July 28). The dancer took to Instagram with snaps of herself with Adam’s family.
Katya was seen posing in the stands with Adam’s girlfriend Holly Ramsay (Gordon Ramsay’s daughter), and Adam’s son George. She penned an emotional message praising Adam after he narrowly missed out on a gold medal.

She wrote: “He did it. I have so much respect for this guy. Such a wholesome human, which shows in and out of the pool. As he said, in his heart he has won. And he will always be our champion.
Praising Adam’s trainer Mel, Katya continued: “Well done @melmarshallmassive, we know it won’t be possible without you. It felt very personal last night to be there and watch him swim. And so special to be part of the support gang for Adam!”
Adam and Katya danced together on Strictly back in 2021 and sparked Strictly curse rumours when they appeared to nearly kiss after a steamy routine. They performed the Argentine Tango in week four and looked like they were about to lock lips right after they finished dancing.
Adam’s ex Eiri had been watching and clearly saw the funny side of the saga as she took to TikTok with a video reacting to the moment. She said: “Watching your boyfriend almost kiss another woman on live tv… Finding out 10 million people also watched it live.”
Adam himself slammed the Katya romance rumours. He said: “To everyone who wants to see what they want, your comments have real life consequences. I will not be overcome or lowered by your gossip. Protect your energy.”
He and Eiri, who share son George, split last year after three years. She reacted to his silver medal win on social media, writing: “Congratulations, Adam. George is so proud of you!
“He doesn’t see the worth of a medal, but the absolute strength and determination that got you it. These are the qualities I pray he inherits. This moment will inspire him and drive him for the rest of his life. Thank you for giving him that.”
