American actress Kirsten Dunst had a bit of a tumble on The Oscars red carpet alongside her husband Jesse Plemons.
The loved-up pair, who looked glamorous in their red carpet looks, were at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to cheer on Jesse’s film Killers of the Flower Moon. This year. The epic movie which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, had an amazing 10 nominations this year.
But while on the famous star-studded carpet despite being dressed simply, Kirsten still managed to trip up while posing for photos. The Spider-Man star was walking backwards and reaching out for her husband, who was behind her.

However, she didn’t see a huge Oscar statue and bumped into it. But things became worse when she nearly fell over as she tripped on her Gucci dress.
Kirsten and Jesse had to quickly check that the famous big Oscar statue wasn’t going to fall over with them too. After they realised their mishap, they both had a good giggle once Kirsten and the statue were safe and sound, reports the Express.
Kirsten could be heard saying: “I walked right into an Oscar! “. The couple couldn’t stop laughing as the cameras started flashing again, swapping their serious poses and smiles for lots of laughter.
The trip, which was caught on camera by Variety and quickly shared online, also showed the couple’s relaxed look for the night. Kirsten chose to flaunt her stunning figure in a sleek white spaghetti strap dress by Gucci, paired with bright red lipstick and a touch of silver jewellery.

Her husband wore a traditional black tuxedo with a neat bow tie and styled his famous red curls to the side. Jesse, who played Tom White in the Killers of the Flower Moon wasn’t directly up for an award at the 96th Academy Awards but was there to cheer on his fellow cast and crew.
The film was up for awards in 10 different categories, including some of the biggest prizes of the night. This included Best Director for Martin Scorsese, Best Actress for Lily Gladstone and Best Supporting Actor for Robert De Niro.
