Celebs Go Dating agent Paul Brunson has lifted the lid on Lauryn Goodman’s exit from the show.
The E4 dating guru said the influencer was the “most untrusting” celebrity client he’d ever seen walk through the agency doors. But by the finale, which airs Thursday (September 19) on E4, she didn’t want to leave.
Paul gave Daily Star an exclusive first look at the last episode and said that Lauryn, the ex of Manchester City footballer Kyle Walker, needed “love” more than anything else. He said: “This was the right show for her at the right time.

“She needed us and the reason why is, I’ll never forget, she was the most untrusting celebrity we’ve ever had on day one. And by the time she leaves, which you’ll see, is that she, literally, you can see she doesn’t want to leave.
“So you think of that, she’s gone from ‘I don’t trust you’, to ‘I don’t want to leave’. It shows you how important support is in her life, and we were able to surround her with love, and she needed that more than anything.”
The influencer has been open about her legal battle with Walker, with whom she shares two children with and is married to Annie Kilner. She broke down in tears in front of Paul and Dr Tara on one episode of the show.
She was discussing how her date Mark was nice to her when she revealed she didn’t want to go on another date with him. Bursting into tears, she said: “I’m used to it being my fault all the time.
“You speak to someone like that, like a Mark. I’m not used to it. I’m not used to that.” Discussing her children, she said: “I think people forget my only priority are my children.
“It’s heavy, really heavy on just like your energy levels. I feel drained. I feel like I’m constantly going to war for my kids and I’m so sick of the battle. It’s just a battle. It’s just a struggle.”
Paul has just launched his brand new podcast We Need To Talk, where he shares his matchmaking wisdom in a bid for us all to be best we can be. In 24 hours the show racked up 100k views, 2m views on social and since topped the charts on Apple and Spotify.
He said of the pod: “We Need To Talk is a very special project. It is unbelievable because of everyone here. The passion that the Flight Studio team has is second to none.
“When the project came out you could feel the cheering, literally. That’s what unifies everyone here in this building is the level of passion.”
The finale of Celebs Go Dating airs tonight at 10.05pm on E4.
