Liam and Noel Gallagher accused of ‘blanking’ secret half-sister ahead of tour

Oasis frontmen Liam and Noel Gallagher have been slammed for “blanking” their alleged half-sister.

The Mancunian rockers are gearing up for their sell-out reunion tour next summer after fifteen years of a hiatus, due to their huge feud. The band are set to play cities across the UK and Ireland as fans scrambled to get the last set of tickets over the weekend.

However, as the brothers appear to have patched things up and got back to being a happy family, another (alleged) family member is hitting out against the pair. Noel and Liam have now been accused of snubbing their half-sister, denying any knowledge of her.

Emma Davies, 51, lives in the Manchester suburb of Burnage, the same area that the brothers were born and raised in. She was also born in the same hospital as Liam, just months after he was welcomed into the world.

But despite her supposed ties to the Gallagher family, she has claimed that Noel and Liam have consistently rejected any attempts of contact. Emma claims that they all share the same dad, Tommy Gallagher, after he was said to have had an affair with Emma’s mum June whilst he was supposed to be married to the boys’ mum Peggy.

After the revelations were made, Liam and Noel soon became estranged from their dad, but Emma was able to reconnect with Tommy in 2006, when she was aged 32. Since then, she has been trying to reconnect with her supposed half-brothers, but they have been too estranged.

Speaking to MailOnline, Emma admitted that she was unable to grab tickets for the band’s reunion due to the ticketing fiasco that took place during the first wave of releases. However, she has said that she hopes that she can make up for lost time with the Britpop lads.

“I would like to meet them; obviously you’re going to want to meet your brothers,” she explained. “I’ve got no bad feelings about anything – it would be great if they got in touch – I think most people who had found out they had a brother or sister they didn’t know about after many years would want to know a bit more about them.”

She continued: “But it’s hard to predict what the Gallaghers are thinking – they are famous people with loads of money and they probably think I’m nobody.” When asked about her own history with dad Tommy, she recalled how her mum had taken the man to court over child maintenance fees, but added that “there was no contact” after that.

Liam and Noel have openly expressed they “never missed” their dad, adding that they did not need him to be around. Liam, in a 2019 interview said that mum Peggy gave him everything he needs in life.

“I got nothing from my old fella, all from my mam,” he exclaimed. “Any good that comes out of me is all from Peggy and all her sisters and brothers – they were a good, close bunch of people.”
