Lily Allen has jellyfish phobia after dad urinated on her in public after bad sting

Lily Allen has a phobia of jellyfish because her dad Keith Allen urinated on her in front of a beach full of people after she was stung.

The 39-year-old singer was on a family holiday to Malta when she was a child when she accidentally swam into a swarm of poisonous jellyfish who attacked her with their tentacles.

Pee is supposed to alleviate the pain of the stingers, so when comedian Keith got Lily back on the sand he weed on his young daughter to try to help.

But Lily was confused as he didn’t explain why he was doing it. On her Miss Me? podcast, she said: “Imagine being a small child and being in extreme pain and then your father taking his d*** out and weeing on you in front of a whole beach full of people.

“I didn’t know why my dad was peeing on me but it seemed pretty unfair after I had been stung by a large amount of horrible, see-through fish that look like jelly.”

The Smile hitmaker is currently on holiday in Greece with daughters Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11, where “the water is completely clear and there are no jellyfish”.

It comes after Lily admitted she had been ‘very promiscuous and experimental’ with female sex workers during the breakdown of her first marriage to ‘help others’.

Appearing on the Miss Me? podcast with co-host Miquita Oliver, the mum-of-two revealed she was concerned the encounters would be outed in news articles. According to Lily, by sharing her experiences ‘non-shamefully’, she managed to regain control of the narrative.

She said: “During the breakdown of my last marriage [with Sam Cooper] I was very, very promiscuous and experimental and I had sex with female prostitutes. I wrote about it in my book because I lived in a state of perpetual fear at that time, because I always felt like I was about to be got ya’d.”

She further explained her reasoning: “I knew this thing existed and that I had been behaving this way and I thought it was going to be revealed, so I thought, to take a little bit of the power back, I would reveal it in my book.”
