Liz and Damian Hurley have opened up on their “very open” relationship over the years.
The lookalike mother and son have recently hit the headlines after the director filmed his mum’s racy sex scene in his first film, Strictly Confidential, a powerful tale that focuses primarily on the grieving process. In the heartwrenching movie, the family of a dead woman struggle to come to terms with their loved one drowning near her family home in the Caribbean.
In the film, Liz engages in a sexual moment with her female co-star Pear Chiravara, who plays Natasha, in the flick that 22-year-old Model Damian worked on. Despite the bombshell casting causing quite a stir, Damian and Liz have defended their “very open” bond.

Speaking to People about her son’s first movie, Liz claimed there were many factors that sparked the uproaer as well as Damian directing it. She said: “People are making a lot of fuss. I think there are a lot of factors making it a particularly interesting scene for people, before adding that the “age difference” between her and 28-year-old Pear is a factor.

She added that there are some scenes which are “quite out there and daring” before confirming “there actually isn’t any nudity. Nobody’s exploited at all. We all felt comfortable doing it.” Damian also takes Liz’s swimwear shots for her company Elizabeth Hurley Beach.
In an interview with Tatler, Damian opened up about his “‘finest moment’ in his film career to date after Liz found herself in trouble after he made her chase Hugh Grant around an airport with a fake dagger. He said: “When my mother gave me my first camcorder for my eighth birthday, a despot was born. From that moment, all I wanted was to write and direct movies.

“I tortured every friend and family member I could get my hands on to act in my self-written, self-directed short films, and I dragged whole suitcases of props, lights and costumes on every vacation.” However, nothing compares to the ridiculous occasion he nearly got his mother arrested, when he accidentally convinced the Swiss police that she was a danger to society.
He reminisced: “My finest moment was nearly getting my mother arrested en route to St Moritz when I made her chase my long-suffering godfather Hugh Grant around Zurich airport with a fake dagger, bellowing that she was going to skin him alive.”
