Former Loose Women star Andrea McLean has dropped a hint about a possible return to the popular ITV daytime show, four years after her departure.
The 54-year-old presenter, who spent over two decades on television, took a hiatus to concentrate on her mindset app, This Girl Is On Fire. Andrea has also been focusing on her Mastering Midlife podcast with her husband, Nick Feeney.
Fans were shocked when Andrea announced her exit from Loose Women in 2020, having first appeared on the award-winning programme way back in 2007. However, she has now disclosed that she is “open” to making a comeback and also shed light on her relationship with her ex-colleagues.

Responding to speculation about her rejoining the panel later this year, she admitted: “I’m open to anything… for the past few years my answer has always been no. However, since coaching others, the door in my head has creaked open a bit.”
Andrea continued: “Suddenly people are knocking on the door again, which is nice. So yes, I could be coming back to screens this year, but I’m not saying any more than that!”, reports the Express.
In a chat with Woman’s Own magazine, meanwhile, Andrea opened up about whether she is still in touch with her ex-co-stars. “Yes, not everyone, in the same way that everybody doesn’t keep in touch with everyone they’ve worked with,” she explained. “I saw Brenda [Edwards] last week and Denise [Welch]. There are a few of us [who stay in touch]. I don’t go out very often, but I did attend Linda Robson’s book launch in London recently, she’s brilliant!”
Andrea recently took to Instagram to provide details about her app, which took almost a year to come to fruition. “For the past 10 months I have been working behind the scenes on my new project and now I want to offer my services to you!” she penned.
“I have brought together my 20+ years of experience as a TV Presenter with my 5+ years working with my This Girl Is On Fire community into something wonderful. It’s called The Media Coach Academy.”
Andrea explained that her mission is to assist female entrepreneurs gain confidence and develop a favourable mindset – both crucial for presenting. All these insights are offered at her newly launched Media Coach Academy.
She went on to add: “We are all presenters now, even if it’s not on TV and it is daunting to film yourself for social content, to talk on a stage, and even to attend networking events if you don’t have the tools of the trade to help you stay calm and look confident. I love what I do and that’s why I created this.”
