Love Island beauty ‘to land acting role on Corrie’ after villa stint in career shake-up

A reality star from Love Island All Stars could be set to ‘land a huge role’ on the ITV soap Coronation Street.

Georgia Steel, 25, is one of many famous faces who have headed back into the villa to find love for a second time. The Yorkshire lass appeared on the programme during series four back in 2018.

Since her first stint, she has remained booked and busy in the limelight thanks to her reality TV appearances. Georgia has starred on shows like Celebs Go Dating, Celebs on the Ranch and Ex on the Beach amongst others.

Unbeknown to most, however, the brunette beauty first appeared on screen way back in 2013, aged 15. The Islander starred as Amanda Bryce in CBBC sitcom All at Sea.

But now, it’s been claimed Georgia could be getting ready for step back in front of the camera again for a huge acting role after Love Island All Stars comes to an end.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo noted how Georgia could soon “try and make the move into the acting world.” The expert added: “While Georgia has since focused on reality TV, she very well could use her time on these shows and her experience of being in front of the camera to help her take the new steps in her acting career.”

The expert reckons she could land a role on Corrie

As for which soap Georgia would be perfect on, Dom said: “An appearance on BBC’s Eastenders or ITV’s Coronation Street may seem the more obvious choices. This is due to her past affiliation with the broadcasting agencies.

“However, Georgia could thrive on a soap like Hollyoaks which tends to have a younger audience compared to other soaps. Actresses like Jennifer Metcalfe and Jorgie Porter were catapulted into success due to their time on the show, and it could be a similar story for Georgia.”

Last week, a clip of Georgia acting in CBBC sitcom All at Sea made its rounds online. And it Scenes show teenage Georgia discussing love and romance with one of her young co-stars – somewhat of a precursor of what was to follow in her career.

Standing aptly by the sea, Georgia says in one clip: “It’s amazing you know, we’ve only been going out for two weeks. It feels like years.” After her pal mumbles a response, she adds: “When it’s right, it’s right you know? Sorry, of course you don’t.”

After a video of the scene was shared on Facebook, fans began to suggest Georgia may be putting her talents to good use in the South African villa. “I knew she was good at acting,” commented one user of the platform. Another added: “She’s still in character.” And a third joked: “Even then you can see the loyalty ripped out of her” – about her repeated declarations in the 2018 villa that she is “loyal”.
