Love Island fans believe they have figured out why Ciaran Davies is at the centre of the current drama in the villa.
The latest series of the ITV dating titan has only just started, but already there is tension and conflict in the villa. Despite walking into the show on Monday (June 3), Ciaran has already gotten to work trying to find the love of his life.
In scenes that aired earlier this week, Ciaran caused a stir after refusing to bring Harriett Blackmore, with whom he is currently coupled up with, into the Hideaway. Instead, he decided to bring in Nicole Samuel to the private room, prompting an emotional response from Harriett.

Fans of the show initially were not fans of Harriett’s emotional outburst as she admitted that the move had “hurt” her. But now, it seems that viewers are starting to turn on Ciaran as he tries to flirt with both Harriett and Nicole at the same time.
After the awkward bust-up this week, Ciaran was seen laying it on Nicole as the pair started getting to know each other better as the show has gone on. But despite telling Samuels that he was starting to like her, fans watched on in horror as Ciaran snogged Harriett whilst they cuddled during Thursday night’s episode (June 6).
Since then, viewers have slammed the boy for not being “loyal”, speculating why Davies would flaunt his flirting skills in the way he has been doing. But after Thursday’s instalment of the reality dating show, one fan was certain they understood Ciaran’s reasoning.
Taking to their social media account, the fan sounded off their opinion. They posted: “Ciaran clearly can’t tell the girls apart either, which is why he’s telling one he wants to kiss her and then kissing another.”
The post triggered a wave of support from fans, all of whom were in agreement that Ciaran was in the wrong. Another fan joking piled on the idea: “He’s changing his mind everyday because he can’t tell the difference between the one he picked yesterday!” followed by a slew of crying-with-laughter emojis.
Meanwhile in the villa, things were heating up in the latest instalment of the show, as Ronnie Vint and new bombshell Uma Jammeh realised they already had history. Fans were shocked when it was later revealed that Uma and Ronnie had snogged previously some three years ago.
In the hilariously awkward moment, Uma admitted they had found each other at a bar during the delayed Euro 2020 season. Ronnie still seemed unsure of the pair’s previous history, but fans were in stitches, with one fan joking: “Ronnie sat remembering his kiss with Uma four years ago, knowing damn well he ain’t ever gonna get another.”
Love Island airs every Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
