Love Island fans might recognise new Casa Amor hunk Joel Kirby from a huge international reality show.
The 22-year-old joined the Casa Amor line-up on Sunday night (June 30), hoping to turn one of the girls’ heads and make his way into the main villa. But just weeks ago, he was part of a group of lads who enjoyed a luxury charter on Below Deck: Mediterranean.
The show, which is available to stream on Hayu in the UK, launched its ninth season at the start of June, and Joel was part of the first group of guests. Days later, Joel shared a look at his experience in Greece for the show.

He wrote: “My Below Deck S9 Mediterranean dump! Scroll to the last one to see what happens when I have too many spicy margaritas.”
In the first photo, the ripped content creator could be seen posing on superyacht Mustique with the turquoise sea behind him. In others, he posed with his friends, including primary guest Jacob Ward.
Funnily enough, Jacob is also on another reality show at the moment, though its slightly steamier than Love Island. He joined the cast of MILF Manor with his dad, Ashley.
In other photos Joel shared, the lavish table decorations took centre stage, with mini disco balls surrounded by plenty of booze. The Below Deck camera crew could also be seen capturing every moment.
The final video in the post saw Joel wearing a metallic disco costume, diving over the side of the boat and into the sea. And while his group clearly had fun, it almost went terribly wrong.
Speaking to Daily Star ahead of the series premiere, chief stew Aesha Scott explained that an issue with their provisioners meant Joel and his pals were left with hardly any alcohol.
She said: “I had all these things go wrong that were totally out of my control, and I just felt like it was so unfair from the universe. It’s like, have you ever tried to start a charter with none of the alcohol that they asked for?
“It’s so stressful and it’s so embarrassing. That was my hardest thing.”
But Aesha spoke very highly of the lads on board. She told us: “What I will say about them is, for young kids, they were so respectful and polite, because with us having none of their alcohol, they had every right to have a massive tantrum. They’re paying so much money to be there.
“I was just so impressed with their decorum and how they handled their selves despite such a huge let down.”
Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
