Speaking to OK! in her first interview since becoming a mum again, Jess, 31, revealed her birthing experience was surprisingly smooth. The reality star said: “It was a really smooth labour actually, I had a water birth. My partner came home from work and my water broke in the evening so we got to the hospital at about 7 pm and I had her at around 10:30 pm, it was good.”
Jess, who won Love Island with Max Morley, added Zendaya has been very well behaved at hom, telling the publication: “She’s been amazing. She’s a really chilled baby, more relaxed than Presley was I’d say. Although, today she has been crying the house down, but usually she’s quiet! I’m only getting up in the night every two hours so it’s not too bad.”
Jess and her fiancé Zeb got engaged to in 2022 and it was the new dad who first suggested Zendaya’s name. “My partner Zeb really liked the name Zendaya when I was pregnant but I prefer it shortened – I’ve never heard of the name Zenny before so I like that it’s unique. We had that name planned for a while before she arrived and she suits it,” she said.
Jess announced her pregnancy back in December, eight months after she revealed she revealed she suffered a miscarriage. “Going into 2024 with the best gift ever,” the former reality star wrote on social media. “I think you all probably know what this means to me and how much I adore being a mum. Truly blessed. Excited for our future and to watch my darlings grow up together.”
