Things got so saucy on Love Island between Joey Essex and his co-star, that producers had to step in and cut the scenes from the show.
The hit ITV2 dating show was back on screens on Sunday (June 16). And it’s fair to say it delivered on the drama, and the sauciness.
In the latest instalment, bombshell Grace Jackson whisked Joey away for a sleepover at Casa Amor. The pair dated briefly in 2023 and things have dramatically reignited since her arrival last week.

While at Casa, Joey, who is coupled up with Samantha Kenny, and Grace locked lips several times – with it being clear there is some serious sexual tension between them.

But things have apparently turned so saucy between Joey and Grace that show producers have been forced to cut the X-rated scenes.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “We always wanted to bring sex back to the villa but didn’t expect this kind of tension so soon.”
They added: “There was genuinely so much footage of Joey and Grace at it in Casa Amor, bosses were spoilt for choice and some scenes had to be left out of the edit.

“Because they knew each other before, their entire relationship is on fast forward and it’s steamy stuff. Joey can’t keep his hands off her.”
It’s said Grace has “unfinished business” with the TOWIE star. The pair had been dating for about six weeks, but things went south fast and the couple called it quits soon after. According to sources, Joey was rather smitten with the babe, 25, and went to every length to woo her – including some fine dining and expensive treats.

But soon after, the Essex reality star, who shot to fame on TOWIE, put an end to the relationship once things became deeper than he wanted it to, leaving model Grace reportedly devastated.
Speaking to MailOnline, an insider close to the former couple said: “Joey dated Grace for six weeks and she was less than impressed by the way their relationship ended.

There’s definitely some unfinished business between them and she isn’t going to hold back in expressing how she feels in the villa.”
The source went on to add to the publication: “She’s drop dead gorgeous, and Joey is bound to regret the way he treated her, not to mention the pressure it’s going to put on his new romance with Samantha.”
