Married at First Sight Australia star Eden Harper has announced things have ended with her husband Jayden Eynaud.
The reality star, 28, had got hitched to Jayden in the eleventh series of the hit dating show on E4. However, after eight months of wedded bliss, the couple have decided to call time on their relationship, which was confirmed on an Instagram story on Wednesday (April 17).
Writing on her story to her thousands of followers, she explained that she was in the marriage for the long-term and hoped that Eynaud would be the same. The pair went on to introduce each other to their families and even started their own, but things broke down and the couple have now finished their marriage.

She penned: “When I made the decision at final vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with the intention of it being forever. Jayden and I spent many months together after the experiment, Cub gained a dad and I gained a whole second family who I’m truly grateful for.”
Eden added that she was “saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an end. The reality is, the person I chose, didn’t choose me.”
She explained that she was “disappointed” that what fans saw in the show did not fully map itself out into the real world, as her relationship went downhill. However, she insisted that she had a great time on the show and learned much from the experiment itself, before signing off with a message of love to the fans for their support so far.
Away from her social media, a source close to the reality star told MailOnline that Eden is not in a good place, adding that the break-up was “completely out of the blue” for Eden and that she is “pretty shattered about it”. The insider also said: “Eden was in the dark about the whole thing and still doesn’t know how Jayden feels about her.”
According to the source, Jayden has not given Eden a reason as to why he ended things with her, though she tried her best to work on things and fix any issues they had. However, the insider said that “he wasn’t willing to play game”, and decided to end things for the pair.
They added that things for the pair had immediately began to go downhill after filming finished on the Gold Coast. After this, the couple had through several ups and downs, going on and off in their marriage on many occasions and Jayden decided enough was enough.
