Netflix Selling Sunset Season 8 trailer teases tragic twist for Jason and Mary

Selling Sunset addicts are gearing up for what is promising to be a rollercoaster ride of a new season. A fresh trailer for Season 8 of the property show has teased new agents, emotional twists and of course, high drama.

Netflix has finally announced a release date for the new 11-episode series, which will be available on the streamer from September 6. It means fans will have had to endure a 10-month wait since the last season’s cliffhanger.

Fans will remember that Brie Tiesi stormed out of an O Group bash in the Season 7 finale and threatened to leave the brokerage for good. The new trailer shows tensions are still high, with Brie cheekily asking “Is my dagger straight?”.

The gossip mill is set to go into overdrive as Nicole drops a bombshell that could send shockwaves through families and marriages, with her colleagues visibly rattled, while Chelsea Lazkani’s marriage appears to be on the rocks.

Brie ominously quips: “They say don’t shoot the messenger. She’s definitely gonna shoot me,” before the two are spotted in a tense face-off, reports The Mirror.

In another highly-emotional scene, Mary and Jason are shown sat together in tears holding their dog Niko, as Jason laments, “We don’t have that long with him.” The couple’s grief over their companion’s passing will be laid bare for viewers in what promises to be an emotionally charged season.

The usual jaw-dropping properties that have viewers glued to their screens are back, including a full-blown Western town that has the entire brokerage stunned and even one of the most expensive homes in the world.

The sneak peek into the new season has fans buzzing with excitement. Hitting up the YouTube comments section, one viewer reckoned we’re in for some “intense” episodes.

“Omg finally! This season looks like it’s gonna be intense. We need more seasons to be filmed right now of OC and Sunset and a new location, let’s GO,” they penned. Meanwhile, another fan piped up to say there is no better Netflix show for property lovers who crave a side of drama, commenting: “Drama is crazy on Selling Sunset, but the properties on Selling Manhattan are better.”
