Set your alarms for Saturday, August 31, because that’s when you can nab those golden tickets from 9AM. There’s a pre-sale ballot lined up for Friday, August 30, as announced by the rock legends themselves on Twitter.

“To ensure the maximum number of fans have a fair opportunity to access tickets, applicants will be selected for the pre-sale via a ballot,” fans were told. “Ballot registration is open now and will close at 7pm BST, this Wednesday 28th August.”

According to the Irish Mirror prices for the two nights at Dublin’s Croke Park will start from €86.50 (£72.96) plus booking fee. With two mega gigs scheduled there, Oasis are on course to bag almost a whopping €15million (£12.6m), reports The Mirror.

Music promoters MCD have shared the price tags, kicking off from €86.50 – a small price to pay for one of the most hotly anticipated tours of all time.

Music industry bigwigs are buzzing with predictions that upcoming gig sales will “absolutely dwarf” Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Spinmaster Kevin McManus dropped the bombshell to ITV News, saying: “I think people forget but the two Knebworth shows they did, almost 4% of the population tried to get tickets,” adding: “They sold out 250,000 tickets, but it was a ridiculous amount of people who tried to buy tickets, they were that huge.

“But this, because people have been talking about it for the past decade, it’s going to be even bigger. I think everybody is going to try and get a ticket. Taylor Swift was obviously the big deal this summer, I think it’s going to absolutely dwarf that, just because it’s them and there’s that talk.”

Ticketmaster is clamping down with a strict four-ticket cap per household and has made it crystal clear that only purchases through official channels will count. Meanwhile, fans desperate to snag a spot at the mega event are being cautioned against dodgy dealers looking to cash in on the tour’s hype.

The Sun has also claimed more dates are in the works, as the 14 gigs announced so far “will sell out in less than three minutes”, according to their source.
