One Direction set for reunion after Liam Payne’s death – but ‘not all members’

One Direction could be set for a reunion following the heartbreaking news of Liam Payne’s death.

The 1D member, 31, tragically fell from the third floor of a balcony of an Argentinian hotel on October 16. The star’s death comes nine years after the group disbanded in 2015.

There have been whispers of the band potentially coming back together as Zayn Malik appeared to have been cryptically posting with 1D songs in the background, which fans alluded to a potential reunion being on the cards.

However, after Liam’s sudden death, fans feared that this may no longer be a possibility. Though PR expert Rochelle White shared her insight on the matter and said she could see the four remaining lads coming together again.

The expert exclusively said: “It is such sad news, I was shocked this morning. Aside from that. I do think that some (not all) the members will do something to celebrate his life and pay tribute to him.

“I can’t see a full-scale tour, but I could see something along the lines of a show, a new track/ song and even something for his son. I feel that they will want to do something. It could also be one those things of a like a final performance/ time for them to do something together – somethings special.”

The group first met on X Factor in 2010 when Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger placed them together. The group consisted of Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Thomlinson and Niall Horan.

This comes after the distressed 911 call from a concerned hotel staff member was released by local Argentinian press. The hotel receptionist, identified as Esteban, could be heard saying: “We have a guest who is off his head on drugs and alcohol. And well, he is conscious he is destroying everything in the room. And well, we need you to send someone, please.”

“We need you to send someone urgently because, well, I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. They must be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little bit worried he’ll do something, that he’ll put his life at risk.”
