Ruth Langsford has broken her silence after ex-husband Eamonn Holmes started seeing his reported new girlfriend.
Ruth, 64, has been hiding away from the spotlight after she announced that she would be divorcing from her longtime partner and TV host Eamonn Holmes, also 64. The couple officially ended things in May, despite not having been seen together in public for almost two years.
Eamonn has thrown himself back into his work life, appearing on his GB News show just two days after the announcement of the divorce. Ruth, on the other hand, has taken time away from the spotlight to deal with her newfound singlehood privately.

Last month, however, she made her brief return to TV, appearing on Loose Women for the first time since the divorce was made public. She also returned to present her own show on shopping channel QVC, together with co-host Rezzy Ghadjar.

Having taken some extra pre-booked time off over the past couple of weeks, Ruth has returned to social media for the first time, snapping a shot of the ex-This Morning presenter stroking Ghadjar’s pregnancy bump as she beamed with smiles to the camera.
Rezzy initially shared the adorable snap of the pair, as she gushed over her co-star, penning: “Always such a pleasure to work with this one!” before tagging Ruth’s account and adding three heart emojis. Langsford went on to share the snap to her own Instagram story saying: “Lovely to see you and your bump!”

It comes, however, after Northern Irish broadcaster Eamonn appeared to confirm that he had found love once again with his new beau. Following the divorce, Holmes was comforted by a mysterious blonde woman who had shown up to the star’s new London pad.
The woman, 42-year-old relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, was seen several times with the broadcaster, after having met through Twitter back in 2015. Now, as the couple generate speculation, the couple have now had their relationship confirmed.
Katie’s ex-lover, Michael Devine – who is nearly 40 years her senior – confirmed to the Daily Mail that she was dating Holmes. Michael, who fathered her child Ben, confirmed that it was his son that broke the news to him.
Speaking to the newspaper, Michael said: “Ben told me Eamonn and Katie were together, but he doesn’t say much. He’s more interested in kicking a football around.”
Michael and Katie have remained on good terms since their first meeting back in 2002. Katie, then aged 19, met retired coach driver Michael when he was 59 – and the couple had dated for some time.
However, things soon came to an end when Katie and Michael decided to call things off. He told the Daily Mail he blamed himself for the relationship fizzling out as he was working as a freelancer, which impacted the relationship.
