Rylan Clark has received an outpouring of demand from eager fans following sad news of him and his adored mum, Linda.
His faithful followers were joyous when he disclosed last month that the beloved duo was making a Celebrity Gogglebox comeback. After a considerable hiatus, Rylan and Linda are set to grace the popular Channel 4 spin-off again which they first participated in back in 2019.
The dynamic duo had taken a break from the show owing to Lindas ‘terrifying’ fall during her first foreign adventure in a decade, coupled with ongoing health concerns. However, in early June, Rylan shared a fresh picture on Instagram of the mother-son tandem comfortably settled on their luxurious lush green couch in his Essex dwelling.

He simply captioned it: “We’re back. Friday @c4gogglebox,” prompting a stream of excited comments from overjoyed fans. And yet, last Friday (July 12), came the disappointing confirmation from the TV and radio personality that Celebrity Gogglebox was drawing to a close.

Commemorating this fact, Rylan posted a snapshot of himself and Linda alongside the hardworking TV crew who brought the show to life. He penned: “Last Gogglebox tonight. Thanks team.”
One fan responding to the announcement lamented, as one wrote: “Noooooooooo you’re my favs ! ! ! Will just have to keep watching it on repeat now. Love love love mummy Linda and obvs you Rylan.”

Another one expressed her future longing and said: “I’m going miss u both love u so much @rylan.” A third penned: “Oh, that’s c*ap will miss you both. Love your mum she is a brilliant, lovely lady”.
Fans are gutted that Rylan might be taking a break from our screens, but some are crossing their fingers for him and his mum to snatch up their own show. @salcake tweeted out: “Oh that makes me sad cos I think you and your mum are hilarious. You definitely need your own show.”
