Sex with Channing Tatum is apparently “primal” – according to his ex-wife, at least.
Back in 2016, Jenna Dewan – who was married to the Magic Mike star from 2009 until 2019 – spilled some very racy bedroom secrets. She told Cosmopolitan at the time that the pair had to keep things spicy in the bedroom, and confessed they enjoyed “primal” romps.
Jenna told the publication: “We definitely have a very happy and healthy [sex life].I’ve always been a very sexual person. Something about being a dancer connects you to your physical body. It’s primal, earthy, sexual energy by nature. You feel your body in a certain way. Channing is very much the same way. He’s very in tune with that.”

Channing, meanwhile, admitted of sex: “I like it. Me and sex are friends. I just lay there… [Jenna’s] very athletic. We get down. We have a great sex life. We communicate very well.”

But sadly the pair decided to divorce after 10 years together, after welcoming their only child Everly in 2013. Channing admitted to Cosmo: “We fought for [our marriage] for a really long time, even though we both sort of knew that we had sort of grown apart.
“But when you’re actually parents, you really understand differences between the two of you. Because it is screaming at you all day long. How you parent differently, how you look at the world, how you go through the world.”

So sadly their sex life wasn’t enough to keep the pair together, but Channing has always needed somewhere for all that sex appeal to go – hence his role in the raunchy Magic Mike franchise. In real life, he began his career as a stripper under the name Chan Crawford, working at a Florida nightclub that has since closed down.
The star has been pictured with dollar bills stuffed into his jockstrap back in the 1990s, but confessed his real-life stripping days were “just gross”. He worked the job for eight months, admitting he felt like a “nobody” on stage and hated taking his clothes off.
The star earned around £115 a night from stripping and performing lap dances. He told IFC magazine in 2012: “I dropped out of school and playing football, and literally started going into this abyss of a world and just sort of lived it up for about eight months”.

Adding to Out mag: “You’re just a guy taking off his clothes, looking like a fool in a stupid outfit. I never enjoyed the taking-the-clothes-off part. You are on a stage with people yelling at you and you feel like you’re a rock star, but you’re nothing.”
The star went on to experiment with drugs and alcohol during his time as a stripper, clarifying: “Just experimenting. Experimenting, I would say. Never the big ones – crack or heroin. I never ODed or anything. Never.”
