Sharon Osbourne is reportedly set to enter Celebrity Big Brother – and it’s been claimed she’s getting a hefty paycheck for it.
The telly star, 71, is one of the rumoured famous faces heading into the show for its new series. And it’s been said that joining Sharon is her old pal and X-factor co-star Louis Walsh – which will no doubt be a treat for fans.
Now, reports have now claimed that Sharon is bagging a cool £100,000 for just five days of fun in the house. The show’s bosses reckon she’s worth every penny, even though they couldn’t afford to have her for the full three weeks.

A told The Sun on Sunday, saying: “Bosses did all they could to get Sharon and finally reached a deal she’s happy with. Sharon will inject enough drama but without her original price tag that was just not feasible. Producers cannot wait to see her reunite with Louis and know that it will be TV gold.”, reports The Mirror Online.
On Louis’ rumoured appearance, a TV insider told the publication: “He is one of the most intriguing signings for Celebrity Big Brother because he has almost half a century of experience in showbusiness to recall when he enters the house. Viewers will be most interested in his memories of his time on The X Factor and working with huge music acts including Westlife and Boyzone.”
The Celebrity Big Brother house is rigged with 92 hidden cameras, ensuring that every conversation, whether loud or whispered, will be captured for the viewers. Among the reported stars joining the line-up are Dragons’ Den’s Levi Roots, Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin, and Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith.
All the celebrities have been trained on how to behave in the house. ITV has stated: “Housemates are provided with and talked through the Housemate rules, which set out expectations and explain key aspects of life in the Big Brother House.”
Sharon Osbourne, who once threw water over Louis Walsh in 2005 when he asked if she was taking her husband Ozzy’s drugs, is also said to be part of the cast. She had a famous feud with Dannii Minogue, who claimed Sharon had to be removed from her dressing room for “screaming and swearing” before filming.
A TV source told The Sun last week: “Landing Sharon is a huge coup for the series, especially as she has such a strong on-screen partnership with Louis. She isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind and has a wealth of showbiz stories up her sleeves. She is guaranteed entertainment and sure to be a hit with viewers.”
*Celebrity Big Brother starts at 9pm tomorrow on ITV1 and ITVX.
