While Spice Girls fans around the world are desperate for the band to get back together, it will take a lot of work as the girls will only hit the road if they receive backstage luxuries such as ice baths and Wotsits.
Having generated enormous success, Britain’s top girl group have earned a certain level of status that allows them to make incredible demands. And Mel B is more than happy to take advantage of that.
In the newly added chapters of her autobiography, ‘Brutally Honest’, ‘Scary Spice’ opened up on the reality of touring with the rest of the girls. She explained: “There are rows, yes. There are nightmare moments. There is always lots of stress.”

The singer added: “But once it starts, everything becomes a fantasy because it’s not real life. First of all, you are allowed to have ANYTHING you want (and you often forget you will be paying for everything afterwards). You live on the Spice Girls’ clock.”
She then revealed exactly what all the girls require necessary in order to go through the ordeal of travelling the globe to perform in front of thousands of adoring fans.
The 48-year-old revealed: “Mel C had her regular ice baths (she’s hardcore). Geri got an actual bed put in her dressing room. Emma wants everything pink and floaty in her room and, apart from the usual things I have on my rider (palo santo incense, organic snacks, Midget Gems, Wotsits, etc), I developed an addiction to Union Jack furniture – sofas, chairs, footstools, chaise lounges and cushions.”
She added: As the 2019 tour progressed, I kept asking for more and more, stuffing everything into my dressing room until there was almost no space left.”
In addition, Mel B also concocted the idea of bringing a spiritual guru along for the Spice Girls’ 2019 tour. She claimed: I took my lovely Reiki lady, Fiona Ross-Scott, with me, although I ended up at the back of the queue because the other girls kept nabbing her (I did mention there are rows).”
During a promotional tour for the book, the artist, appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show, teasing that something massive is in the works. However, she refused to go into detail, alleging that doing so would result in her being “kicked out of the WhatsApp group again.”
But regardless, she maintained: “We are all in talks; something is going to be announced.”
