Strictly Come Dancing star Fleur East shared an emotional message as she remembers her late father.
The Strictly star used social media to mark the sad anniversary of her dad’s passing. While competing on the BBC One dance show with professional partner Vito Coppola, Fleur danced in memory of her father, Malcolm East.
He sadly passed away after a heart attack in 2020, leaving Fleur devastated. When she joined Strictly in 2022, Fleur said with emotion: “I’m just going to be doing it for him. I’m gutted he can’t see me do it, but I’m going to keep him in mind when I’m doing the show.”

Over the weekend, Fleur took to social media to pay tribute to her dad, marking four years since his death. She shared a photo of them together from when she was a little girl on her Instagram Story.

She wrote: “4 years today without my Daddy darling. I miss him so, so much today more than ever! Always imagining what he would be saying to me at this stage of my life..”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The singer, TV star and radio host added with more cute photos from when she was little: “He was just the best! ! ! We have the most amazing memories.”
Fleur also shared a picture of them together before he passed away and said: “Love you forever Daddio. Can’t wait to tell your grandchildren all about you.”

Fleur surprised her fans when she told them she was going to have a baby on New Year’s Day. Fleur, who is now on the Strictly Come Dancing special show It Takes Two after she danced her way to the final in 2022, showed everyone her baby bump in a beautiful photo on Instagram.
She looked fab wearing a shiny catsuit with a big jacket over it. She held her baby bump and wore high heels while she smiled for the camera.

When she put this cool picture on the internet, she wrote: “2024 is gonna be different…” with a little baby emoji and a heart, and lots of people sent her lovely messages. Later, she posted another happy photo with her husband Marcel Robin, who is excited to be a dad too.
But Fleur has also been having fun making funny videos even though she’s going to have her baby very soon. She joked about how she’s spending her time before the baby comes as she danced on a bouncy ball, showing off her big tummy in a tight outfit.
After sharing a video of herself and Marcel posing during a photoshoot days earlier, she said: ” Mum and Dad status imminent.”
