Taylor Swift was rejected by her favourite London kebab shop after she offered him a free VIP ticket to one of the Wembley Stadium dates on her Eras tour.
The business owner, whose name is Ahmed Khan, claimed he was understaffed on the night and therefore was too busy working to attend her sold out show. Taylor, 34, was introduced to the beloved north London kebab shop, Kentish Delight, by her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn who hails from Tufnell Park.
It’s clear to see that her love for his tasty food made a lasting impression on her after Taylor’s team reached out to Ahmed to see if he would like to attend one of her concerts on the tour. But the owner told The Sun that he was left with no option but to turn it down.

He told the publication: “She first came in before the pandemic with Joe. He knew we had the best kebabs so wanted to show Taylor.
“It did not feel like she was a big celebrity. She was very down to earth and spoke to everyone with respect.” His business Kentish Delight even featured in the music video of her 2017 hit song End Game and she is said to have assured Ahmed that she will film another video soon.
Last week, the musician revisited the takeaway shop and placed a huge order for her tour crew, which included 45 large chicken doner kebabs setting her back approximately £450. The Love Story hitmaker made sure her and her entourage didn’t go hungry as she prepared to perform eight sold-out shows in the capital across the summer.
A source told The Sun: “They’ll be collected by someone from her team on the night. It’s a big order but the kebab house can handle it. Taylor adds garlic sauce to hers, as well as heaps of salad.”
Last July, loyal Swiftie Emily Talbut shared a TikTok video as she visited the star’s favourite London takeaway establishment. The small food spot now proudly shows off its connection to the pop icon with a selfie taken by the singer proudly displayed in the window.
There is also a ‘Swift Kebab’ poster framed in the show showing Taylor in the joint on several different occasions. The pop princess further cemented her love for the UK when she arranged a Greggs sausage roll van ahead of her first sell-out Eras tour show in the heart of Edinburgh earlier this month.
Much to the delight of her fierce fanbase in the Scottish capital, she had a van from the beloved British bakery chain parked outside the Murrayfield Stadium. The blue food truck was fully revamped for the gig, with glitter all over it and the lyrics ‘Flake It Off’ across the back – a play on her hit track, Shake It Off.
‘This is our place, we make the rolls’, was also etched on the other side of the van, in reference to her 2019 track Lover. She also reportedly placed a huge order of sausage rolls, steak bakes and donuts for her crew ahead of her opening UK show.
