The Chase fans were floored after finding out the real age of a contestant.
Joe, a security officer, from Sheffield, did best to take on The Dark Destroyer, AKA Shaun Wallace, on Monday (March 25). However, ITV viewers were distracted by his ageless appearance.
The quiz player shocked fans after revealing he was 59-years-old. They “almost couldn’t believe it”, some claimed on X.

Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on his youthful looks. One wrote: “Still can’t believe he’s 59! #TheChase”

A second viewer couldn’t believe their eyes and added: “Teaching Karate for over 40 years. How old is he? Not a wrinkle in sight! I want to know his secret #TheChase” Another typed: “59 unbelievable.”
Another penned: “Looks good.” With one viewer replying: “He really does!! This lad looks older than he does.” One other scribed: “Sean better let Joe through #TheChase”

One other fan of the ITV quiz show pointed out that he had a resemblance to a famous soap star. They commented: “Joe Sounds exactly like Bobby (Jack Carrol) in corrie! #thechase”
The Corrie newcomer joined the show earlier this year and the actor was previously known for starring on Britain’s Got Talent and earning his place as runner-up.
Jack plays Bobby Donocan, the son of Carla’s brother Rob Donovan, who is serving life in prison for the murdering Tina McIntyre. Bobby turned up on the Cobbles after Christmas looking for a place to stay after falling out with his mum.
