The Chase fans were forced to do a double take as EastEnders actor and comedian Brian Conley tried his luck on the celebrity version of the ITV game show once again.
Host Bradley Walsh was back on our screens on Saturday (January 20) night as Jon Sopel, Maisie Summers-Newton, Perri Shakes-Drayton and Brian Conley pit their wits against Chaser Jenny Ryan in the hope of winning a potential prize pot worth thousands of pounds for charity.
They worked as a team and played strategically to answer a series of general knowledge questions against the clock and race down the game board to the exit without being caught by The Vixen. However, fans were surprised to see Bradley’s doppelganger Brian on the programme again.

Bradley even referenced their similar looks on the show, introducing Brian as his “brother from another mother”. Brain also pointed out they both get mixed up by fans. As viewers at home were distracted by the two stars. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “No idea who that Perri is or Maisie is and nice to see Bradley’s brother Brian Conley on.” Another added: “Brother from another mother.” A third person agreed: “They’re like two pees in a pod.”
It comes after Bradley asked if anyone could help Brian find work following the end of his EastEnders stint as Rocky Cotton and role in pantomime Cinderella. Standing beside his friend behind-the-scenes at Milton Keynes Theatre, Bradley, 63, joked Brian, 62, had been bugging him for work and therefore wanted to see if anyone can help him find his next role.
In a video shared by Brian, the presenter began: “Hello, everyone. I’m backstage here at the Milton Keynes Theatre coming to see an old friend of mine. We’ve known each other a long time, since we’ve been teenagers in effect. And, sadly, now, at the moment, the show’s come to an end. And he’s left a show on the BBC called EastEnders. So he’s actually out of work, and I believe he’s now looking for work.”

He then turned to Brian and asked, “What can you actually do?” to which he revealed he could sing, dance and act. Bradley concluded the clip, adding: “Someone give him a job. Stop him bugging me.”
Brian shared the post with the caption: “An urgent appeal,” which sparked many replies from his 68,000 followers. One suggested: “We need a special episode of The Chase hosted by you Brian, and Brad is the contestant!” A second added: “You two make me laugh so much! Such a talented pair! You should do a TV show together. It would be hysterical!” A third added: “Love both these guys… please keep them both on our screens… more laughter needed. Always.”
The Chase airs on ITV1 and ITVX
