This Morning presenter Dermot O’Leary looked downtrodden after his co-host told him he wasn’t in her group chat.
On Friday (January 5), the pair interviewed Love Island host Maya Jama ahead of the new All Stars series. The pair gushed over the host and Alison expressed her love for her glam outfits.
Alison said: “We have like a WhatsApp group and all we ever talk about is your outfits, they have become an event.” Looking confused, Dermot then chimed in to ask: “In my Whatsapp group?”
To which Alison snapped back: “No, not with you, my friends’ Whatsapp group.” She continued: “We always talk about Maya’s outfits. Do you get nervous about next year’s as you need to try to top them?”

Maya answered: “It’s a bit of pressure for my stylist I think she’s got the most struggle but yeah, we go for it together. We did a fitting yesterday. I think we’ve got some strong looks. Yeah, it’s hard though, everyone’s got different tastes you don’t know who you’re going to impress or please, I’ve just got a dress to make yourself feel good and what I like.”

Fans at home saw this as quite rude, with one saying that Alison felt Dermot wasn’t her pal. One wrote online: “Dermot ‘What, our WhatsApp.’ Alison ‘NO, my friends!’ Says it all, these two are false, and it comes across the screen clearly. Ffs, I could even tell Dermot had had his haircut. #ThisMorning Oh, and Love Island can f*** right off!”
The new series of Love Island will start on January 15th and Maya revealed there will be more than a few shakeups this time around. Not only will the contestants be familiar faces from previous series, there will also be more live interviews and input from Maya herself.
