This Morning host Cat Deeley was left in hysterics after she made a rude joke about a stopcock.
The presenter, 47, returned once again on Monday (June 3) to host the ITV show together with co-host Ben Shephard. After taking a week’s break from the show to indulge in the half-term fun, the pair were back to guide viewers through some interesting stories, as well as give some vital entertainment to the show.
In one segment of the programme, Ben and Cat joined resident GP Dr Sara Kayat as she opened up a surgery for those with concerns to get in touch. Some of the heart-wrenching stories that were covered in the show covered the effects of acid reflux and the potential for hereditary diseases.

At the end of the phone-in, Cat and Ben appealed to viewers watching at home to get in touch regarding an upcoming phone-in later in the week. The topic of the phone-in was rather mundane as it related to plumbing, but Deeley and Shephard could not help themselves but revel in the innuendo.
Ben explained: “According to research, more than half of us have no idea how to stop a plumbing disaster. So we’re going to be joined by an expert who will be answering your questions.”
Cat then took over as the threesome admitted none of them could sort any plumbing issue. “Have you got a dodgy pipe at home?” she coyly said, as Ben quickly chimed in, “One or two” – to which Cat shot back: “So I’ve heard, which is on the brink of bursting!”
Dr Sara was left in hysterics as the pair continued to appeal for people to get in touch in the steamy segment. However, it was then when Cat tripped up on a word as she could be heard holding back laughter.
“Do you know where your stopclock is?” she asked. Ben, however was quick to correct her, adding: “It’s not your clock,” as Cat erupted into laughter, falling into her chair, wheezing as she giggled hysterically.
Ben, however, took a more serious approach, as he calmly explained to Cat what a stopcock was, as she admitted she had no clue what its purpose was. This was not before Ben made a cheeky dig at his co-star, joking: “You don’t know what a stopcock is? Well, that might be a question for your partner.”
Ben and Dr Sara explained the purpose of the plumbing instrument to Cat, who was clueless. “It stops water going down the wrong bits,” Shephard said as Dr Sara gestured towards how it worked, leaving Cat bemused, but cheekily adding: “I wasn’t that far off in the first place then!”
As Cat continued to chuckle to herself and maintain composure, Ben took over giving viewers details on how to get in touch. He managed to sneak one extra dig in at his co-host before moving on: “It is plumbing disasters we’re after, by the way – I’ve no clue what Cat’s referring to!”
This Morning airs every weekday at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX
