A Boots shopper has praised an anti-ageing cream as a “saviour” for her menopausal skin and skincare fans are rushing to buy it from today’s £10 offer.
The high street health and beauty store has dropped 58 items on this week’s “£10 Tuesday” and Superfacialist’s retinol and anti-ageing night cream has been reduced from £21.90 to £10.
The shopper said the cream worked wonders on her, explained: “It smells lovely and sinks into my menopausal skin. My skin always feels soft and plump in the morning.”

A 69-year-old shared: “Forget all the other retinol night creams! This is such a lovely, comforting overnight retinol cream. Such a reasonable price too. Love this cream on my 69 year old skin!
“Really see a difference in one month. Skin is noticeably clearer and the fine lines around my mouth are a little bit reduced!
The Superfacialist Retinol and Anti-Ageing night cream is targeted for mature skin and aims to firm and hydrate the skin overnight.
The rich formula of retinol renews skin and improves fine lines and wrinkles while the collagen-boosting active works to stimulate skin elasticity, reported Express.
The 50ml jar also contains almond oil – which has fatty acids and vitamin B6 to condition and nourish the ageing skin. The night cream has amassed near five-star reviews and it’s sold out on Superfacialist’s website.
“Love this night cream, not cloying and works like magic. Made my skin much more youthful looking each morning,” one commented.
Another found it as effective as other expensive brands but cheap at the price but most importantly, her skin condition improved after using the cream.
But some struggled to see improvement, with a disappointed shopper writing: “It’s a good moisturiser but not anti-ageing. I have been using this for 4 weeks now, so long enough to see any effects.
“My face feels softer, but that’s probably because I’ve been using it regularly whereas before I didn’t regularly moisturise.
“My wrinkles are all still there. No-one has commented on how I’m looking younger and that’s because I’m not.”
The cream worked on people who suffered eczema as the shopper said: “It’s nice to find a product that works and doesn’t cause my eczema to flare up. This is the second time I’ve bought this product.”
Retinol is a form of vitamin A and a powerful ingredient in anti-ageing beauty and Medik8’s Intelligent Retinol Smoothing Night Cream has been approved by dermatologists and anti-ageing experts as an effective cream to delay signs of ageing.
Victoria Beckham previously revealed her anti-ageing routine and that included th e Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum from her own skincare line. She worked with Augustinus Bader and formulated the serum with their clinically-tested, patented TFC8 technology and supercharged clean actives to visibly improve skin health and vitality.
