Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan has posed for a gorgeous shoot with Country Life magazine. The breakaway star of the Prime Video show’s latest series is making the most of her taste of the spotlight, thanks to Jeremy Clarkson. After recently attending her first showbiz event, the country lass has scrubbed up for a glam shoot.

The 24-year-old swapped her wellies for a gorgeous summer dress – though her farming background wasn’t too far away. In the Country Life shoot, she could be seen perched on the wheel of a tractor.

Harriet smiled as she sat with one leg over the other. Her adorable dog Tyke joined in on the shoot, jumping up to stand on Harriet’s leg. The full article appears in the latest issue of Country Life magazine, on sale now

The country lass joined Clarkson’s Farm this year, but only featured in a handful of episodes.

Former Top Gear host Jeremy brought her in to help out on the farm as his right hand man Kaleb Cooper was on tour at the time of filming.

She was hired by Charlie Ireland, Jeremy’s land agent. But despite her popularity with viewers, she recently revealed that her stint on the show was only temporary.

Speaking on BBC Breakfast, she said: “We’ve always left it very open. I’m here if he needs me, but no plats at the minute. If he needs me, I’m here.”

Opening up on her new-found fame, Harriet, who juggles farming with nursing, went on: “I’m shocked because I didn’t realise so many people are interested in me and what I do day to day.

“I’ve never really thought of it as anything exciting. It’s just my little life.”

She continued: “I get up and farm, go to work, come back and farm. Even walking dow the street and seeing people, they’ll recognise us. It’s absolutely crazy.”

And being glam is something Harriet is proud of. She said: “Just because I’m a small blonde who likes to curl her hair and wear makeup, and things like that, doesn’t mean I can’t be a farmer.

“For me, it’s really important. I think, it’s just changing that stereotype of being a farmer and what a farmer is.

“But I’m definitely still going to farm, you’re never getting me off this place!”
