Danny Jones is said to have offered his wife Georgia Horsley a grovelling apology following his kiss with Maura Higgins at a post-BRITs bash – but it might not be enough
Danny Jones’ kiss with Maura Higgins could be “one step too far” for his wife Georgia Horsley, amid their marital issues. The McFly singer is said to have offered a sincere apology to his wife after getting cosy with Maura at a BRITs bash.
But it seems that sorry might not cut it, as Georgia has reportedly ditched all her imminent work plans, including teaming up with Kelsey Parker for The Baby Show at London’s ExCel Centre. A friend reportedly told Mail Online: “She’s more forgiving than most. But this might be one step too far.”
Insiders claim that Georgia, who shares a seven-year-old son with Danny, is a very understanding spouse. Yet this trait might fall short of salvaging their union, with the kiss leaving the model mama feeling “struggling” and “humiliated”.
A pal added: “Georgia is trying to find a way forward for her family… She is mortified at how this has all played out and can’t help but feel humiliated. It’s blown apart her world. The idea of doing any more work in the near future is also something she couldn’t bear to think about right now.”
Meanwhile, Danny, aged 38, was seen in recently captured clips hanging out with fellow McFly member Tom Fletcher, hobnobbing with Queen Camilla at a high-profile event, reports the Mirror.

After a recent scandal that has left fans gobsmacked, Danny from Bolton, has yet to respond to the criticism he’s received on Instagram. One supporter blasted: “Wtf Danny. You are married with a child. Fans are meant to respect you but how can they when you don’t even respect yourself.”
Meanwhile, 2019 Love Island star Maura, aged 34, has also attracted some heat, as disgruntled followers drop shade on her Insta, with one saying: “Oh dear very disappointing.”
Danny first met Georgia back in 2008, yet it was a full year before she agreed to a date, having pegged him for “a top s******” and a cliché musician.
